Visions is a shamelessly optimistic view at an opportunity for me to be comfortable in my new environment by photographing one of the most uncomfortable aspects of society; murder
Time, landscape and memory are important points in this particular body of work. When does a space become a place? How does an event invade the space of the location and implants itself with memory and history?
These are real stories, of real people that happened at a time and place and these are brothers and sons who had their lives robbed away from them. They walked the streets as I do, they live in South London as I do, they had a life full of hope and promise as I do, they experienced love and anguish and a spectrum of emotions, as I do.
